Standup edition. Solana had its best week since the crash β volume +81% to $4.14M, platform take +94% to $28.3K, launches +45%. Robinhood recorded zero launches β the first shutout since the chain went live β while volume slid another β63%. And Finn publicly promised the market structural change ("It's time for things to change," 16K impressions in 2 hours). The good news: eng shipped 222 commits of exactly the right inventory to cash that check β RH fee-sharing is live, deployer identity is indexed, and the PnL leaderboard is one review away.
Operating frame (Rob): the launchpad space rewards novelty β Bags must react fast to market trends without dropping long-term goals. Going forward we run as a KPI-focused firm, with the explicit aim of capturing trading volume through mobile and terminal products. The meeting runs in four sections; stats come prefilled (this brief is the prefill) and we discuss why things worked or didn't, not what the numbers are.
Key stats this week: $4.14M Solana volume (+81%) Β· 226 deploys (+45%) Β· 10.7K active traders (+39%) Β· $31.8K blended revenue (+32%) Β· $30.89M all-time. RH: $174.5K vol, zero launches.
Stats (prefilled): volume $4.14M (+81%) Β· deploys 226 (+45%) Β· active traders 10.7K (+39%). Solana reactivated broadly; RH launch side is at zero with fee-share live as the reactivation wedge.
New launch mode β Dividend mode on Robinhood: assign owner, surface blockers, set launch date, and sketch the launch-day marketing plan in-meeting. Every launch mode gets its own KPI line from now on (launches using the mode + volume through it) with status, timeline and marketing goals.
Pipeline: brief descriptions only β assign an owner to draft plan + timeline, don't design in the meeting. Cadence target: 1β2 new launch modes/week, paired with engineering.
Mobile: shipped v0.5.12 (chat redesign, bonding-progress bars, trade/security fixes); Top Traders tab + trader profiles (bagsapp #661) and PnL leaderboard endpoints (backend #1109) in review. Terminal: crosschain token search + non-Bags RH coins shipped into the app surface.
Stats/KPIs: not tracked yet β that is itself the KPI this week. Goal: by next standup, mobile and terminal each report volume, DAU/actives and retention, split from web. Format per product: what shipped last week Β· priorities this week with one named key player per priority Β· the marketing/growth initiative attached to each.
Data: solana-indexer-v2 rollout (0β69 commits, 10 PRs first week) re-based the trade feed (~2Γ prior reads β see Metrics); ClickHouse V2 refactor + deployer-identity tables landed. AMM: engineering status + timeline presented in-meeting; launch plan is a separate session (keep this meeting short β Rob).
Open floor for growth/eng blockers only. Close: meeting recorded with Granola; Rob sends the summary with clear objectives and a named owner per task. Next week every section above arrives with its stats prefilled.
Human commits across the bagsfm org (bots filtered), clustered by theme. A brand-new repo (solana-indexer-v2) went 0β69 commits and 10 merged PRs in its first week. Linear recorded exactly one eng completion.
Green = GitHub commits. Red = Linear eng completions (BAGS-222, crosschain token search β the only tracked issue that maps to any of the 222 commits; the other 7 Linear closes were BD/ops). alaa + ramyo went shoulder-to-shoulder at the top all week.

ramyodev 18 (the RH + data-layer machine) Β· alaabags 6 Β· unbound-bags 5 Β· danbagsfm 3 Β· nilsbags 1. bags.backend alone merged 18 human PRs β RH index tokens, crosschain search, ClickHouse V2, Helius TX history, 0x swaps.
5 open PRs are older than 3 months; bagsapp #602 just had its first birthday. finnbags #649 (Cashback, +25.6K lines) has sat since June β land it, split it, or park it explicitly. The queue should be next week's changelog, not a museum.
solana-indexer-v2 went 0β69 commits and 10 merged PRs in its first week β and its rollout re-based the trade feed (see Metrics). Backend + indexer + datapi + automations = 212 of 222 commits: this was an infrastructure week that quietly shipped user-facing surface (RH fee-share, search, leaderboards).
GitHub: 222 commits, 33 merged PRs. Linear: 1 eng completion (BAGS-222). Last week we asked "is Linear the record or not" β no decision was made, and the gap widened. Pick one this standup: (a) declare GitHub the record and stop grooming a fiction, or (b) require an issue per PR-sized unit of work. And the 210-day audit cluster: close it or staff it β a stale audit plan is worse optics than no audit plan.
The floor last week's deck called is now a ramp: volume +81%, take +94%, launches +45%, traders +39%. Meanwhile Robinhood recorded zero launches for the first time ever.
β οΈ Basis note: the indexer-v2 rollout re-based bags_trade_feed this week β prior week re-reads as $2.29M (vs the $1.13M we reported last Monday, ~2Γ on every day). Fee and launch tables are unchanged (exact match), so the +94% take is re-base-proof; volume/trader WoWs are computed same-query-same-day on the new basis. Levels are not comparable to decks before today. The story: creator claims +87% ($29.5K, 155 claimers) β creators are getting paid again, and platform take doubling on a stable table is the cleanest "the floor became a ramp" signal we have. RH vault: 17.32 ETH (~$32.2K), up from 13.11 β accruing, unswept.
Net read: Goodwill is available but explicitly conditional β the market told Finn to his face that teases without shipping are exhausted (this was last month's lesson too). The difference this week: the inventory to cash the check actually exists β RH fee-share is live, deployer identity is indexed, the PnL leaderboard is in review. Specifics within days, or the tweet becomes the next counter-meme.
Name the mechanism publicly: what specifically changes about market structure on Bags (anti-extraction protections, deployer accountability, fair-launch mechanics) and when. A dated spec beats a vague thread; a shipped v1 beats both. The reply pressure ("be more specific") peaks this week β and the eng inventory below makes this deliverable, not aspirational.
Fee-sharing for Robinhood coins went live this week and the community found out on their own. Meanwhile RH printed zero launches. Fee-share on existing RH coins is the exact wedge to reactivate the chain β every RH coin community becomes a fee-earning constituency. Official announcement + claim walkthrough + creator spotlights, timed with Aug 2's curve-demand evidence (1,518 buys with no launches to buy into).
10,700 weekly traders (+39%) and three $700K+ days. The leaderboard endpoints (backend #1109) and the Top Traders tab + trader profiles (bagsapp #661) are open PRs β one review cycle from shipping a competitive loop into a rising market. Momentum features compound only when shipped during momentum.
The single biggest eng theme this week (deployer identity tables, top-deployer endpoints, fee-share attribution) is the raw material for public creator track records: launches, fees earned, claim history, rug ratio. This IS the "things need to change" feature β accountability infrastructure the MM-extraction complaint is begging for. Scope a v1 surface (profile page + badge in launch flow) and put an owner on it.
Do not spend launch-side marketing on Robinhood until fee-share reactivation shows a pulse (target: first 10 organic RH launches back). And after Trenchy's public death-by-no-funding, decide the Bags Fund's posture β fund visibly (announce 2β3 grants) or sunset the promise quietly. An undead fund generates FUD on every ecosystem obituary.
Read: zero of five agenda items exist as tracked work. Same finding as last week, wider gap.
Not auto-created β say the word and I'll file these with teams + priorities.
The order matters: the "change" thread has a half-life measured in days. Cash it MondayβTuesday, then spend the rest of the week announcing real, already-live features β receipts all the way down.
Cadence rule this week: every post points at something live. The only forward-looking post allowed is Monday's β and it must carry a date.
Goal: $100M cumulative protocol revenue. Banked all-time: $30.89M (DefiLlama, Solana-only basis; $61.78M total fees incl. creator share). We're 30.9% there. The measurement chasm is closed: public 7d revenue ($36.8K) now tracks blended true take ($31.8K) because RH shrank to ~11% of the blend. The north-star lever this week is unambiguous: Solana's take doubled on a stable fee table. Feed that ramp.
| Milestone | Cumulative revenue | Increment | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Today (Aug 3) MEASURED | $30.89M | +$36.8K wk (public, Solana-only) | 30.9% of goal |
| True blended (incl. RH) TRUE | ~$30.89M | +$31.8K wk ($28.3K SOL + $3.5K RH) | chasm closed |
| End of Q3'26 TARGET | $36M | +$5M | needs ~$550K/wk (~17Γ this wk) |
| End of Q4'26 TARGET | $61M | +$25M | needs ~$1.9M/wk |
| $100M GOAL | $100M | +$39M | H1'27 at Q4 pace |
Basis: DefiLlama protocol-revenue (Bags' Solana cut), all-time $30.89M. The honest read: blended take +32% WoW is the first up-week in a month, but $31.8K/wk vs a $550K/wk Q3 requirement is still a 17Γ gap. Doubling take on doubling volume proves the machine works when the market shows up β the job is manufacturing the conditions (runners, leaderboards, accountability) that keep it showing up, and reviving RH's launch side from zero.
bags_trade_feed (new basis). Three days β₯ $725K β broad, not one runner. Total $4.14M / 7d, +81% WoW.
On-chain scan. β63% WoW, zero launches. Aug 2's $42K was 1,518 curve buys into existing tokens β buyers with nothing new to buy. Total $174.5K / 7d.
