DefiLlama just published its weekly revenue movers — and Bags is #1 on the board, the single fastest-growing revenue protocol in DeFi (min $100K/wk), fees up +326% WoW. Our own chain data agrees: trades 3.2x'd and volume 3.5x'd week-over-week. The acceleration is real and now externally validated.
From bags_trade_feed. This week (Jun 15–22) vs prior week (Jun 8–15). USD = trade notional, SOL @ $73.6.
~3.2x trades, ~2x traders, ~3.5x volume WoW. Launches told the same story: 2,390 Bags launches this week vs 369 prior (+548%), from 913 creators. Bags is the #3 launchpad on Solana by 24h launch count (behind Pump.fun & DBC).
The "biggest" doubler DefiLlama is referring to is us. On their published board — Fastest Growing Protocols by Revenue (7d WoW %, min $100K/wk) — Bags is #1, fees up +326% WoW, ahead of Pendle, Meteora, Polymarket, Jupiter, Uniswap and every other protocol shown.
| # | Protocol | 7d revenue WoW |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Bags 🕶️ | +326% |
| 2 | Pendle | ~+140% |
| 3 | Pull.fun | ~+135% |
| 4 | MemeMax | ~+100% |
| 5 | ClaimRush | ~+65% |
| 9 | Meteora | ~+38% |
DefiLlama (public API): Bags fees 24h $9,969 · 7d $279,007 · 30d $591,912; revenue 7d $139,504. The board ranks by WoW % growth, not dollar size — #1 means the fastest-accelerating revenue line in DeFi this week. Other ranks read off the chart bars (no dollar labels). Cleanest third-party proof point we've had — screenshot it.
Three different "fee" numbers get conflated. Here's the honest breakdown so we don't quote gross flow as revenue.
Reconciliation: DefiLlama shows 7d fees $279K / revenue $139.5K — roughly 2x our internal platform_accumulated ($131.5K), because DefiLlama counts the full protocol-side fee (incl. a recurring routing skim). Both move together and both ~3.5x'd WoW. Take rate ≈ platform take / volume ≈ 0.8% — the lever for $100M is volume × raising this.
Net read: The hard growth numbers + DefiLlama validation give us a stronger offensive narrative than we've had. Use it to crowd out the standing builder-trust FUD — but still ship a real builder-support answer this week.
This is the cleanest external proof point we've had. Screenshot the leaderboard, ship a founder thread framing "#1 fastest-growing protocol in DeFi this week, +326%," and pin it. Reach decays fast — move while it's live.
Volume 3.5x'd but platform take is still ~0.8% of notional. Model a take-rate ladder (premium launch SKUs, SpaceX-Mode tiering, charity surcharge). Even +30bps on this volume is material.
The one durable bear signal, now compounded by SpaceX-Mode backlash from legacy fee-earners. Stand up a support SLA + featured-builder program + a "why SpaceX Mode" explainer that protects existing builders.
$ASTEROID/Stargrace is still our best-converting narrative. Ship a verified Charity Launch SKU (501c3 attestation, on-chain donation tracking, leaderboard) — a new take-rate surface that differentiates from every degen launchpad.
On-chain is our source of truth and it's screaming. But Amplitude BUY events still under-count vs chain — we're optimizing the funnel half-blind. Close the gap so we can attribute the surge to specific surfaces.
One anchor moment per day. Channels: @BagsApp lead + @FinnBags founder voice + amplify builders.
Cadence rule: every product change ships with a why-post. The growth numbers earn us the right to be loud — use it.
Q2'26 measured from the on-chain monthly rollup (Apr–Jun). Q3–Q4'26 are the plan: volume growth + take-rate expansion (charity/premium SKUs, SpaceX-Mode tiering, SDK rev-share) to a $100M annual run-rate exiting the year. The +326% WoW print is the strongest evidence yet that the curve bends the right way.
| Quarter | Volume | Fee revenue | Rev QoQ | Distinct traders | Traders QoQ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Q2'26 MEASURED | $44M | $1.0M | — | 50K | — |
| Q3'26 PLAN | $200M | $5M | +400% | 120K | +140% |
| Q4'26 PLAN | $780M | $25M | +400% | 260K | +117% |
This week's run-rate: 7d trade volume $16.2M ≈ $845M annualized; 7d platform take $131.5K ≈ $6.8M annualized (DefiLlama basis 7d $279K ≈ $14.5M annualized). The gap between volume run-rate and revenue run-rate is the take-rate opportunity (Obj 2).
Buy-side notional, Bags pools. +247% WoW.
